I am always grateful for the opportunity to travel. On the mainland, I road trip more - I once put 60k miles on a new car in its first year!

ADDRESSES

Addresses I have lived at in my life! I travel internationally, yet have only lived with the United States of America so far. I am from the West Coast, grew up mostly in the South, lived on the East Coast, and now reside in Hawai'i. My partner is from the North, so we have no idea where our long-term residence will be!

I love my in-home espresso machine, but I still love getting out and supporting local shops! I love a good cortado nowadays, yet I have been really into the banana flavored lattes lately.

HOUSEPLANTS

Houseplants currently! My top three favorite plant genera right now are alocasia, begonia, and rhaphidophora.

Another fun fact - one of my begonias is 6ft tall (root ball to top stem)!

You may have noticed that I have not specified that say I work with one group or what's known in the industry as a "niche." I enjoy working with people in all walks of life and I do not plan on picking a niche outside of offering portrait and lifestyle photography for all.

In the last ten years, I have had opportunities to photograph portraits for:

Families - extended families, in-home newborn sessions, maternity, and single-unit families of all amounts and ages.
Couples - proposals, engagements, proms, small weddings, and those that want to capture their love without a specific milestone.
Solos - graduating high school/college/university seniors, birthdays, professional headshots, and solo portraits for anyone looking to get nice photos of themselves.
Groups - individuals and teams for sports, business branding, and military ceremonies like promotions and reenlistments.
Action Photography - I also enjoy action photography. I mention it here to let you know I do it, but I actually have a subdomain to keep the action all in one place -

Professionally, I continue to plan photographing what I enjoy, which is all of the above. I aim to provide classic and timeless Collections that showcase you exactly as you are, for any of your portrait and lifestyle needs.

Photography came to me. I found myself with a camera, learned that I did pretty well with it, and before I knew it, I was being asked to photograph others; somewhere around 2016, Alexia Rose Photography was born. I started out professionally doing a lot of prom photos and sports individual and team photos! I used to deliver galleries on CDs that I burned in-home and made labels for... my much younger brothers are reading this and calling me "unc" - whatever that means.

I burned out on what I love and took a step back from Alexia Rose Photography (and many other things in my life) around 2020. I stopped promoting myself, yet I never stopped doing portraits or action photography; I was mostly found by word-of-mouth, by those in the sports communities that found me on the field, or by many wonderful returning clients who have been with me for years. While I cannot help but feel like it was a step-back not pushing Alexia Rose Photography forward, it was much needed so I could fall in love with living. I also regained a love and greater passion for photography, and Alexia Rose Photography is back in full-swing as an insured, Limited Liability Company (LLC) as of May 2026 with a current pending federal trademark. I have continued to grow and learn as a photographer over the years, and I hope to meet you soon!

In other areas of my life, I am a lifelong learner, a mental health advocate, and a legal advocate. I am also a wannabe espresso connoisseur, crazy cat lady, and I do other styles of photography as a hobby. I have been married to my partner for two years and we have two rescue cats.

My partner has been with The United States Marine Corps for ten years, which has brought us back to lovely Hawai'i. If I am not out taking photos, you can usually find me supporting a local coffee shop, finding new ways to sneak more houseplants into our home, and exploring all the 'āina has to offer - while simultaneously avoiding the UV rays.

Yes! Alexia Rose Photography℠ is an insured Limited Liability Company with a current pending federal trademark.

How do you capture your work?

Professionally, I use a Canon Professional Mirrorless System!

Outside of professional work, a camera is ALWAYS on me. I collect cameras and dabble with all sorts of different capture mediums as a hobby.

Would you do trades for service?

I am open to mutually interested and equal trades for service. Please send me an inquiry on the site or direct email to discuss.

Would you second-shoot for another photographer?

Yes! I enjoy meeting and working with other photographers and have second-shot many times before; mostly for weddings, but I would be happy to be a second shooter any time.
