About Alexia Rose

Besides the obvious - I am a photographer - I am also a wannabe espresso connoisseur, crazy cat lady, and regular reader of law reviews. I have been married to my partner for two years and we have two rescue cats.

My partner has been with The United States Marine Corps for ten years, which has brought us back to lovely Hawai'i. If I am not out taking photos, you can usually find me supporting a local coffee shop, finding new ways to sneak more houseplants into our home, and exploring all the 'āina has to offer - while simultaneously avoiding the UV rays.

I am based on O'ahu but available for inter-island travel and beyond.

About Alexia Rose Photography

Alexia Rose Photography has been around for about ten years! It started way back in the day with me being involved in my high school's yearbook. I have always enjoyed taking photos of nature (as long as I can remember), but yearbook was my introduction into taking photos of events, sports, and people. That eventually turned into me getting my own personal gear and taking photos of my friends for prom, shooting sideline at my brothers' (hi Jacob and Zachary!) many sporting events, and I have done hundreds of sessions for family portraits, couples portraits, sports individual and team photos, corporate headshots, graduation and senior portraits, military events, and even a few weddings over the years.

I stopped promoting Alexia Rose Photography in 2020, yet I never stopped doing portraits or sports photography. While I cannot help but feel like it was a step-back not pushing Alexia Rose Photography forward, it was much needed so I could fall in love with living. I also regained a love and greater passion for photography, and Alexia Rose Photography is back in full-swing as an insured, Limited Liability Company (LLC) as of May 2026. I have continued to grow and learn as a photographer over the years, and I hope to meet you soon!
